Welcome to Word of Life Study Series- Words of Wisdom. It is said that wisdom is the application of knowledge. It is true that wisdom like love is supernatural, of God. One thing that we need desperately in this day and age is the wisdom of God, because we know from the Scriptures the consequences of folly. God’s Word from our spirit, emits spiritual light that illuminates our minds with understanding according to Psalms 119:130, “The entrance of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.
Ephesians 1:17-19
I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe.
As children of God, we have in Scriptures, the embodiment of knowledge and truth. Why should we look to the world for answers that only God has. Jesus has given us the “Great Counselor,” the mighty Holy Spirit and He uses the Word of God to lead us into all truth for every area of our lives if we will just listen to Him.
