Welcome to Word of Life Study Series- Qualifications of the Ministry. Please don’t let the title of this section fool you, it is not just for those who are called to the five-fold vocational ministry of the apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher position. If you are a Christian, then according to the Bible, you are an ambassador of Christ and a minister of reconciliation. We are all called to fulfill the “Great Commission” on this earth. Therefore, it is our responsibility to prepare ourselves to be people of excellence, integrity and to be equipped.

2 Corinthians 5:18-21

All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.

It is required that those who have been given a trust, must prove faithful. There is so much that we have in Christ, freely you have received, freely give. One day we will all have to appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ and give an account for what we did on earth with what He gave us. My prayer is that we all hear from Jesus, “Well done, good and faithful servant…”
